PECO – Eleven Year Title Sponsor

The Philadelphia Mummers Brigade Association acknowledges PECO's eleven year commitment to MummerFest and the Fancy Brigade Finale on New Year's Day.

It was following the 1997 parade when the Brigade Association made the dramatic decision to move their finale indoors. And add a four day long MummerFest leading up to New Year's Day.

What we required in our infancy was corporate sponsorships to make it work. And we wanted our first sponsor to add the legitimacy to attract additional sponsors. When PECO through Ed McBride signed on as our first sponsor we could not have attracted a better corporate name.

Since that time they have been in partnership with us every year. The Philadelphia Area is fortunate to have such a corporate leader who also understands the importance of being part of the community.

The Philadelphia Mummers Brigade Association looks forward to many more years of mummery with our valued partner – PECO – An Exelon Company.
